Strong + AI Coaching

Connect Strong and every set you log reaches your coach: the exercise, the reps, the weight. Not "a 55 minute workout", the actual session, so your lifting is coached instead of just counted.

What your coach does with Strong

Set-by-set, not session-level

Most ways of getting gym work into a coaching app give it a duration and nothing else. Strong sends the whole log, so your coach can talk about your top set on squats rather than about an hour of unexplained lifting.

Progression it can actually see

Because the weights and reps come across, your coach can spot a lift that has not moved in five weeks, or one you are adding to faster than you are recovering from.

Lifting in the same load picture as everything else

Your coach sees your gym sessions next to your runs and rides. Leg day the morning before a key interval session is the sort of collision it can move.

Volume that counts the right sets

Warm-up sets are logged but not counted as work, and an assisted pull-up is not counted as weight added. The volume number your coach quotes is the work you actually did.

Questions

How do I connect Strong?+

Open integrations on your dashboard and pick Strong. Strong has no "connect an app" button, so you sign in with your Strong username and password on the next screen. That screen is run by Terra, our sync partner. We never see or store your Strong login. Your recent workouts import right away.

What Strong data does my coach see?+

The full workout: every exercise, every set, the reps and the weight, plus RPE where you logged it. Strong is a phone app and does not read a heart rate strap, so there is no heart rate on these sessions.

Can my coach change my Strong routines?+

No. The connection is read-only in both directions of the word: we read your logged workouts and we cannot write anything back. Your routines are yours to edit in Strong. If you want your coach to program your lifting, ask it and the session lands in your athletedata plan instead.

Does this double-count if I also wear a watch?+

No. If your watch recorded the same gym session, the two are matched and counted once. Strong wins on detail, since it is the one that knows what you lifted.

Can I disconnect Strong?+

Yes, from your integrations page, at any time. Your already-imported sessions stay on your dashboard and no new ones arrive.
