Fitbit trackers, the Fitbit Air band, and Pixel Watch all live in the Google Health app now. It measures your training, sleep, and recovery. Your AI coach turns those numbers into decisions.
Your coach receives each night's full stage timeline: deep, light, REM, and awake minutes. Consistently low deep sleep or fragmented nights change what the AI asks of you the next day, from intensity down to bedtime suggestions.
Fitbit measures HRV (RMSSD) in windows across the night. The AI averages them into a nightly value and tracks your baseline over weeks, reading multi-day drops as accumulating fatigue rather than reacting to single noisy nights.
Runs, rides, walks, gym sessions, and everything else your device records lands in your training log with duration and heart rate. If you also use Garmin, Strava, or WHOOP, duplicate recordings of the same session are recognized and counted once.
Weigh-ins logged in the Google Health app (or from a connected scale) reach your coach within minutes and feed long-term trend tracking alongside your training load and fueling conversations.
Every tracker that syncs to the Google Health app: all Fitbit trackers and smartwatches, the screenless Fitbit Air band, and Pixel Watch. If it shows up in your Google Health app, your coach can read it.
Yes, on Android. Samsung Health shares data with Health Connect, and the Google Health app can read Health Connect and carry that data to its cloud. Connect Google Health on your athletedata dashboard, install the Google Health app on your phone, and allow it to read from Health Connect. A native Samsung Health integration is on the roadmap.
Google retired the Fitbit Web API in September 2026 and replaced the Fitbit app with the Google Health app. athletedata built directly on the new Google Health API, so nothing here depends on the retired platform.
Sleep and weight are pushed to us within minutes of your device syncing. Workouts arrive on an hourly schedule until Google adds push notifications for exercise, which they have announced.
The integration is in beta. Join the waitlist from the Google Health card on your integrations page and we'll email you when your access opens. Once enabled, you connect with your Google account in about 30 seconds, and recent history imports automatically.
